Jermaine Rogers - Ween / Sonic Youth / Flaming Lips, NY State Fair

One of those prints that just takes your breath away....a beautiful split fountain, great color scheme, and an image that is 100% Jermaine Rogers. Much of Jermaine's work is line-art, focusing often on a single subject, so there aren't usually a lot of details to focus on, but that gives every detail a trove of meaning and symbolism. I love that Jermaine creates an image that is at once a little disturbing, but completely benign and even endearing.

This poster was such a hit that it spawned an entire series of Ween posters and art prints, each focusing on a season. The original, shown above is the "Spring" version.
